Turnberry Holiday Park features a newly refurbished bar and restaurant, with live entertainment (karaoke and live music on Saturday nights), family amusements, beer garden, children's play area (including trampoline), swimming pool and games area. Shops on-site include a mini market, laundrette and Dowhill Country Fayre farm shop which offers home grown strawberries, beef, lamb, pork and poultry supplied by local farms. The site is open from the end of March until November, and also open over the New Year week.
Golfing Information
Turnberry offers the legendary Ailsa championship course (host of the Open Golf 2009 tournament) and the Kintyre, both offering a challenging round of golf. Also a previous Open Championship course, Royal Troon is just 25 miles away. And if you still don't feel spoiled for choice, Girvan Golf Club and Prestwick Golf Club offer additional options (6 and 18 miles away respectively).
Other Activities
Ayrshire offers many places to visit and has some wonderful walks and attractions such as Culzean Castle. In Girvan there are ideal locations for trout fishing and also boat trips to Ailsa Craig. Booking
Bookings are minimum of 2 nights, and preferred rates are offered for weekly bookings. Pets are welcome, but please note that smoking is not allowed in the caravan. Everything is supplied in the caravan 'ready to go' with the exception of towels and bedsheets - please bring your own supplies of these items. Bookings for up to 6 persons are accepted.
